Former model Melania Knauss was bestowed with a 12-carat emerald cut engagement ring said to cost just under a million dollars. The couple met at a fashion event in 1999 and Donald proposed six years later in 2005.

The stunning bride wore a Christian Dior gown with a 13 foot train, weighing in at 50 pounds. The whole ensemble was said to cost close to a quarter of a million dollars. The beautiful gown graced the February 2005 cover of Vogue magazine. For the reception, Melania changed into a much lighter gown designed by Vera Wang.
